The OPM Conductivity Analyzer is extensively used in hydroponics and aquaculture systems to check water quality, including salts, nutrients, and contaminants. The nominal values of water conductivity are commonly employed to assess the concentration of ionized chemicals in water. However, they do not distinguish between specific concentrations of ionic compounds in mixed water.
Measuring water conductivity is crucial for monitoring water quality in aquaculture. High or low conductivity levels might indicate environmental changes.
Conductivity sensors are excellent for measuring electrolytic conductivity in aqueous solutions. In contrast to conventional two-electrode sensors, they provide technological advantages in the medium to high conductance range. The sensor is suitable for conductance measurement in water and drinking water treatment, air conditioning technologies (cooling circuits), wastewater treatment (water treatment facilities), and ion exchanger plants.
